We welcome adult rowers of all abilities, who want to take part in sweep oar rowing (rowing with one oar). Experienced rowers are welcome to sign up to join our regular evening and weekend outings and erg sessions.
For new rowers, we provide full training, on the river and through dry land sessions on the ergs (rowing machines) at St Catherine’s College boathouse.
We are a fairly relaxed club. We don’t tend to do early morning outings (though it has been known to happen) and we are very flexible in terms of the amount of commitment required. We enjoy racing and regularly enter races on the Cam and occasionally elsewhere, with the Town Bumps the highlight of our racing year.
Annual membership costs £156.00 (the lowest boat-club membership in Cambridge).
